As I flipped through the radio stations today to appease the musical tastes of the three rugrats in the backseat, I heard my first Christmas Carol blaring over the car speakers.
A loud gasp escaped my mouth and the rugrat radar in the backseat picked up the blip and scouted it out with a "What's the matter Mom?". To which I responded, "Holiday songs all ready? What is this world coming to?". An intrepid voice responded, "It's OK, Mom. Just change the channel if you don't like it because it's YOUR car not the radio station's."
Out of the mouths of babes.

I couldn't believe it last night I saw that Bloomingdales had installed their Christmas lights. I love the holiday season and all the decorations but it seems as if each year the commercial world pushes Xmas on us a little sooner just make more money not to spread cheer.
At least your kids acting in a thoughtful manner instead of instantly thinking of their Xmas list.
But on to other distractions www.perezhilton.com - all the good gossip from Hollywood...

I saw you had an art activity posted for Nov. 11 at the Hirschorn with Maggie Michael the artist-in-residence. She has some good work. She shows with G Fine Art but you can see better examples of work on artnet.com.
